I am Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Tulsa, and the author of Political Advocacy and Its Interested Citizens. I am currently writing my second book, provisionally titled Pluralism & Its Critics.

My research and teaching focus on U.S. politics, with emphases on interest groups, political parties, and American political development, among other topics.
